The Westport Area Community Building is located at 205 West Main Street. They have two rooms available for rental as well as kitchen facilities. The large room has a capacity of 300. The Westport Town Hall is available for rental by members of the Westport Community. The cost to rent the Conference Room, with includes the use of one restroom, tables, chairs and kitchen access is $40. Capacity for the room is 30 people. Kitchen has a stove, microwave, refrigerator and sink. Reservations must be made in advance with the Westport Clerk Treasurer. You may reach the Clerk Treasurer at 812-591-3500 during normal business hours.

The Westport Branch Library is open to all residents of Decatur County. It is housed in the Westport Community Building, utilizing almost 1,000 square feet of the building. It has served Decatur County since August 1989 and has received enthusiastic community support. It offers a wide variety of library material and also has a typewriter and computers available for public use. For your convenience, there is a book drop located in front of the building. However, please note that some materials may not be returned in the book drop and will be marked as such.

SUPPORT GROUPS / SENIORS:
The monthly Senior Blood Pressure & Sugar Check is held at the Town Hall on the second Thursday of the month at 10:30 a.m. There is no cost for this service.
Encouraging Others is a support group for widows where you can find help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one. The group meets every Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the Westport Christian Church.
AAA meets every Thursday at 8 p.m. in the Town Hall.
